Hi! I'm just going to say "write" now. I am only doing short stories. I am still inexperienced with writing (that doesn't mean I don't absolutely love it) so I tell you the names of them as I go along. I have to go now though. But so far I have written two short stories and a lot of essays. The names of the short stories are:
The Mathematician's Nurse
and
The Watchmakers Tears
That's all for now.

*Insert Pen Name Here*
Hello, all, I need your help! What should my pen name be? Anything? Anyone? I want it to be something somewhat ordinary, but really cool and that fits me like a glove at the same time. Do you guys have any ideas? Here are mine. The problem with them, is that they might sound like band names. :|
-Indigo Blue (a bit redundant, but kinda cool)
-Indigo Sterling
-Terrier Blue
-Terrier Chase
-Zolie Sterling
-Tabitha Sterling
First names:
-Indigo
-Terrier
-Zolie
-Tabitha
-Grace
-Tam
-Daphne
Last names:
-Sterling
-Chase
-Blue
-Yellow
-Orange
-Tobit
-Zero
-Tavor
OR should it be initials, like J.K. Rowling?
-E. M. Indigo Kinda cool.
-E. M. Tobbit :D
-E. M. Tavor
-E. M. Blue
So... What do you think?

Stuff from the Email
As the subject clearly states... I challenge you to join this event, one I and I alone will be hosting. (dun dun dun du-u-u-u-un )
GrOfFriNoWriYea!
No. I did not copy NaNoWriMo.... Okay, maybe just a little.
Now that we have mastered, flunked, or at least heard about, NaNoWriMo, we will take an even more desperate leap into the abyss we know as ... Insanity. (Also known as 'group of freinds novel writing year' yes. That is what GrOfFriNoWriYea stands for. No, that was not what I was originally going to call it, but I decided agains NaNoWriYea, for National Novel Writing Year, but technically... it is not national. No. I don't care if you don't like the name, I cam up with the idea! Okay, okay, can we move on? STOP ASKING QUESTIONS!!)
Yes, That is correct. I am challenging you to write ONE MILLION WORDS This very year. 2012. (Definitely) no more, (hopefully) no less.
Now, I don't want any excuses. No, "I'll be to busy' or 'I don't think I can' or 'I'll DIE!"s.
Got it?
Those are horrible excuses! Horrible! Yes, you may not have enough time. Yes, you probably can't, but that doesn't matter, does it? Neither can I! We have NOTHING to loose here, only words to gain! And more so than we would otherwise.
Plus, there is a prize for the one who is the closest to reaching, or reaches first, the goal. It is confidential. (hint hint, cough cough, it may be a few of your books actually getting finished... *whistles nonchalantly* )
And lucky us! It is leap year! A whole extra day!!!
So what are you waiting for?
Oh yeah. Instructions? Well, here you go:
For your convenience, I have written down exactly how many words per day/month/week you will need to write in order to reach this goal:
PER DAY (Saturdays and Sundays excluded)
3832 words per day
PER DAY: (Only sundays excluded)
3195 words per day
PER WEEK:
17858
PER MONTH:
83334
So, what do you say? Yes? Oh, thats good! So, here is what we'll do. If each novel is around 1oo,000 words long, we'll be able to write ten novels in ONE YEAR. So, reply with the following:
what stories you are planning to write (you don't have to do ten, but if you're like me, you have twenty unfinished stories or at least ideas lying around, and you can finally dust off their covers, and finish them)
And then, every day/week/ time you get on, track your progress against everyone else, using the following form:
Hours spent:
Mood: (one or more of the smiley faces)
Words written today:
Written on what: (which story)
Word requirement for today:
Words you should have total:
Words you need to write to catch up:
Where you are at in your story: (What chapter/page/however you want to measure it by, are you on? Have you completed a novel)
Total wordcount:
Amount of words needed to finish the whole thing:
Days left:
Comments: (about writers block, how the writing is going, a particularly funny/weird/cool idea you thought up, did one of your characters die, etc. )
Here is mine:
Books I will write:
[]Silent
[] Dragon Sisters
[] The Fables of Quernome
[] A Cage in the Sky
[] The Dwirven and the traitor
[] A collection of short stories and poems
[] Invisible creatures vol. 1
[] Invisible creatures vol. 2
[] Invisible creatures vol. 3
[] The Finder's Keeper
[] Vermillion Greene
I will write all of them one at a time, except the short stories and poems, which I will write whenever I think of one. Yes, there are more than ten on there. That is because I will not be able to do much on one of them, as I am writing it with my cousin, and she lives in Idaho. I will do a different story if it sounds better than the others, that isn't set in stone. Anywho...
You had better get ready to put the worst drafts of your best books forward!
Rules:
There is no going back
No giving up
No refusing this invitation/challenge/command
No whining
No distractions
and above all....
Have fun! :D
So... Here is the information from the Emails that people have sent:
Megan is doing:

Ooh. This should be fun. Quite fun indeed.
This is Linnea. Hi.
Well, as the title says, this should be very fun. You may choose to take me literally, you can decide to take it as sarcasm. The truth is that this is absolutely one of the most interesting things I have attempted.
Right now I'm failing because my brain and it's need to have everything planned out to the most minute details, but I'm trying. And I actually think I'm doing pretty good, considering this is me. Not good enough to actually be considered 'good', but my concept of normalcy is warped, so just let me live with my delusion.
Okay, now for my stories. There are ones where I'm doing pretty good (warped perception) and others that are failing. (Ouch...) I feel pretty confident about some, less so about others. But I will keep moving! Wish me luck! (Or success, either one works.)

Happy Beginning!!
Quiana Speaking!
Okay guys, I was nice enough to put together this blog for you even though I'm sick of my computer and what to go DO something.
Some little things and concerns and whatnot about our lovely little blog: While it's name is GrOfFriNoWriYea, you have to type in WriterHuddle.blogspot.com to get here. Why? Because I figured "Writer Huddle" would be easier to remember than GrOfFriNoWriYea, which I've been practicing to try to pronounce and has been suggested that we just call "Goofy" for short.
If anyone wants the address to be something other than WriterHuddle, please say so. If anyone doesn't want their real name to be screamed out on the front page where everyone can see and would like to change it, please say so. If anyone wants to take away the exclamation point at the end of "GrOfFriNoWriYea Official Blog!", please say so. If anyone wants to change the background, please say so. If anyone wants to change anything whatsoever, please say so, and I will do my best to fix it.
So we all have our own pages now, except that me and Connor's name are kind of obscured by the binding of that book over there. I'll work on it. Go on and fill your pages with whatever information you may desire. Books you're working on, books you'd like to be working on, books you would like to be liking to be working on but you can't bring yourself to, and other cool stuff like that. My page will probably look like this:
"Hey, I'm Quiana. I am fourteen and like to write stuff. I hope to get in half a million words this year and I also think that squirtguns are very inadequate in the heat of battle."
Though I'll probably add something else in there too about Aura Sivian and how she is the best MC I've ever come up with and I still feel a little sorry for killing her.
On posts: There should be a nice blue bar at the top of your screen, and after your e-mail address there should be the words "New Post". Click on that and begin typing away! After you tell us who's posting, you can tell us all about your progress, your stories, how you're ultimately failing, how you love strawberries, ect. Pretty much whatever.
Also, I think the matter of Google Docs needs to be brought up NOW. To demonstrate how it works, I will pull up a random doc: Click here to view F.O.X. .
After you click on that and look at it, come back to this blog. What I just did was show you a random piece of my work without even having to e-mail it to you or anything. Google Docs is an awesome word processor that can be used to easily share stories and whatnot. It's also very nice if you're collaborating your story, since people can be viewing and editing at the same time, and there's a nice little chat box on the side.
Linnea and I will spend hours on end typing away on Docs throwing characters in interesting situations and seeing if we can make them fall in love.
For more questions or concerns about Docs, just drop keylime223@gmail.com.
Anyway, sorry for that little blurb right there. I totally sounded like a salesman right there, didn't I? I apologize. I promise I was not payed by Google to advertise.
Good luck with your stories! Have a WONDERFUL new year!
